Becoming a Friend of Scouting in Europe

We recognize that people have different preferences and abilities to contribute yet have a passion to support Scouting. For that reason, there are annual, once-off, ad hoc, and young supporter options for generous individuals and groups.

Becoming a Friend of Scouting in Europe means:

  • Committing to the development of Scouting in Europe, with an emphasis on projects in Central and Eastern Europe, having a powerful impact on grassroots Scouting.

  • Email updates and invites to webinars for FOSEs so that you can hear from the ESF’s volunteer-led Board on project progress and the strategic direction of the ESF
  • Invites to FOSE tours, and receptions at WOSM conferences

Other opportunities to support

  • Groups of people may also come together to become Friends of Scouting in Europe – Local Scout Groups, Regions and even National Scout Organisations may wish to show their commitment to these vital projects
  • It is also possible to donate on behalf of another person to allow them to become a Friend of Scouting in Europe. This may be a thoughtful gift on a birthday or to mark a milestone in their Scouting.
  • Occasionally there are opportunities to contribute to specific projects, these will be highlighted on our social media.
